Description
There are a number of cases where a single resource can be discovered by multiple providers; in most case these misdiscoveries can be mitigated by noting the root-source on dependent providers (see patches for #3035 & #3085). However, in some cases (see the 3rd comment on #3085) this may be inadequate.
