Description
The app seems to allow for logging in users but by default it works without.
Ideally we’d have one level of login (just dashboard) and that system could be used to keep track of who does what.
It does not make sense for the user to log in twice (one via HTTP auth) and then again via the dashboard login system, or have an optional login once at dashboard.

Created a quick and dirty fix for this: http://github.com/pmenglund/puppet-dashboard/commit/ff1ff7b1d03f4d7178264dc4d4fb3fa7365811f0

We need this for the upcoming commercial edition. The GA (generally available product est. Jan/Feb 2011 – maybe sooner) requires Dashboard provide for login/authentication.

What about Martin’s patch? Can someone throw their eyes over it?

This isn’t making a lot of sense to me. We don’t have any authentication in Dashboard, so how is there a double login?

An this might be a legacy ticket. Closing.
