Description
There’s a bunch of other Ruby 1.9 tickets, but they’re focused on specific failures. I’m creating this one to be a reference point for all the remaining problems that cause the code to not even run because of syntax problems in 1.9. This ticket is not to get Puppet all the way to 1.9, just to get it so that the syntax errors are out of way to to the point that the specs run.

Reviewed and available in the next branch commit:36f4dc5e1527fc46f097080c12bb1ee5c3d46714. We have 2003 test failures under Ruby 1.9, so it’s time to start fixing those.
