Description

The new ‘secret_agent’ face provides most of the functionality of the ‘agent’ application, which makes one of them redundant. We should migrate ‘agent’ to use Faces instead of the custom code it has right now.

There are a large number of unimplemented agent features in the new configurer, including daemonizing, scheduling, support for the kick remote API, and so forth. I don’t believe it is realistic to try and get this in for Puppet Camp, other than as a “proof of concept” that we can do this in the future.
