Description
the default behavior should not use a cfgfile that will fail if the user does not create a directory manually.
It makes more sense to default the cfgfile to cwd.

Dan, that isn’t a very easy to comprehend bug report. Now that we are not under insane time pressure, can you remember what caused it and flesh out the details so we can work out what needs to be done? That would be awesome, and good work capturing it so it didn’t get forgotten in the rush. :)

Hey Dan,
I haven’t used pe-builder yet, but I want to know that it’s working well for everyone, especially before we get into doing testing for 2.5.
Could you elaborate on this ticket a little bit?

I’m trying hard to let pe-builder die and replace it with tools designed for our workflows. Closing this as invalid.
