Description

Changing the Console’s User/Password

Is confusing. It’s only applicable if you’ve disabled RBAC and are still using Basic Auth. Customers would like more information about the current Console.

Use case was a customer that borked the initial password on install and could never log into RBAC. He wanted to know how to change the admin@example.com password in the initial setup without using RBAC.

cd /opt/puppet/share/console-auth/
/opt/puppet/bin/rake db:create_initial_admin['user@example.com(1)','password(2)']

(1) Cannot already exist

(2) Cannot contain commas apparently
