Description

I attended the PuppetLabs open house (just after OSCON), and was given a T-shirt. The text on the back will not execute without error… I’ve tried everything to get it to run. I tried to patch the shirt, however I just cannot match the ink up with the original.

Any one else experiencing the same issue?

Ok, I’ve attached a picture… people are starting to make fun of my shirt… I am a Dev Ops guy, I really need some support here!

Can I expect a patch, or a permanent fix?

We do have a work-around (although it has its limitations)

Find a post-it note, write you name on it followed by a colon. Place the post-it note after the open curly brace.

You may also want to enclose your name in single quotes to adhere to recommended best practices.

A suitable workaround is just to drink at home, manually. Works for me, anywaysh.

Alternatively, you could capitalize the first “s” in sysadmin and it becomes valid!

Magic!

We’ll soon be releasing “Pub Shirt 1.1” which will address this issue. It fixes the syntax problem, and makes the resource title configurable.
